Commissioned by Rabbi Naftali Rotenstreich for The Center for Jewish Discovery, New York, NY.

CJD requested an original mural for the street–viewable wall for their preschool playroom.

As in other projects, the work had to be relevant not only to the site and the commissioning organization’s context, but also work for children and for adults viewing the room

The mural “starts” with the top right gold & black element, which represents “Day 1” and continues from counter–clockwise right to left, following the circle, ending with “Day 6” at the bottom right. The center element is “Day 7, Shabbat”.
