Previous workshops included:

Bar / Bat Mitzvah Art Project: Students create artwork based on their Parsha (=Torah portion).

Amulet painting: Learn about a short history of amulets and paint your own personal talisman on a pre-made amulet shape.

Hebrews & Hip-hop: make your own amulet “bling”, and learn about the history of Jewish amulets.

Sukkah Objects: Create objects with Ushpizin / Ushpizot, based on biblical persons, and on relatives who you won’t see during Sukkot, but would like to invite in.

Jewish Lifecycle: Learn about the uniqueness of Jewish rituals. Create an object using different art techniques to illustrate the richness and rituals of the Jewish lifecycle.

Metalworks: Create ritual objects such as a mezuzah case, sukkah decoration, Shabbat placemat and tzedakah box.

Passover / Freedom Workshop. Work with soft metal materials to explore interpretations of freedom.  Explore perspectives both Jewish and general, including the Passover experience and world events of the past decade.
